The 500 electric now offers three levels of equipment, which all leave the choice between the two battery sizes.
Arriving in dealerships almost two years ago, the Fiat 500 electric is a great success. It is the second best-selling electric model in France over the January/August 2022 period. At the end of summer, the Italian manufacturer is launching a new range.
Its construction has been simplified. To begin with, we find the three silhouettes: the 3-door, the 3+1-door and the convertible. Then there are always two technical configurations: a 70 kW motor, or 95 hp, with a 23.8 kWh battery or an 87 kW motor, or 118 hp, with a 42 kWh battery.
Surprise however according to the new online configurator: if the basic model still has a range of 190 km, for the large battery, Fiat now announces 280 km in the combined cycle instead of 320. We contacted Fiat to understand, but without response for the moment.

It is on the side of the finishes that it changes. Now there are three levels: “500”, Red and La Prima. And each finish offers the choice between the two engines. Previously, the Action, Action Plus and Red trims had the small battery, the Icône, Icon Plus and La Prima trims had the large battery.
The bad news comes from a surge in prices. The entry ticket is now at €30,400. It had already increased to €27,400 in the spring, whereas it was €24,500 at launch at the end of 2020. The basic equipment is however improved, with the large 10.25-inch screen and automatic air conditioning as standard. Another example, the La Prima saloon model with a large battery is displayed at 38,500 €, it was 35,900 € at the start of the year.
The finishes and main standard equipment
- 500: autonomous emergency braking, sign recognition, fatigue detector, auto climate control, rain sensor, cruise control, 10.25-inch touchscreen, Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
- Red: 500+ sanitizing glove box, RED floor mats, smart speed limiter.
- La Prima: 500 + 17-inch rims, navigation, JBL audio system, full LED headlights, semi-autonomous driving.
The costs
The bonus is €6,000.

The 3+1 version offers the 500 and La Prima finishes, for an additional €2,000.
The convertible version is available with all three finishes, for €3,400 more (than the sedan).
