A few months ago, Margarita Terekhova celebrated her 80th birthday. The last ten years of her life, the famous actress spends virtually locked up. She is struggling with an incurable disease that has already deprived her of the ability to fully communicate with loved ones and even get out of bed – Alzheimer’s disease.
The artist is cared for by her relatives and several nurses. Terekhova’s daughter Anna announced on her social networks the day before that a documentary-fiction film regarding her famous mother was being released. The painting is called “The Worlds of Margaret”.
Anna accompanied the publication with unique photos. One of them depicts Margarita Borisovna’s completely withered, wrinkled hands. The actress is holding an old prayer book.
The second photo, which became a kind of “poster” for the film, is no less touching. On it, Terekhova neatly holds her own baby picture.

According to her daughter, the Mossovet Theater, in which Margarita Borisovna has served since 1964, and the Artist Foundation are now helping to pay for everything necessary for a seriously ill celebrity. The “milady” herself, although she does not get out of bed and sometimes does not even recognize her own children, is very keenly interested in creativity.
“Held. She understands a lot, she has a conscious look. She answers questions, although in monosyllables. Listens to music. Sometimes she watches TV very carefully when performances are shown there – she watches how the actors play …”, Anna shared.
