Last year, with iOS 17, Apple launched a really cool feature within the native Messages app (Messages), o Did it arrive well? (Check In). With it, you can notify a friend/family member that you arrived safely home or to another location.
This year, with the arrival of watchOS 11the company expanded this to the Apple Watch as well — and not just in the Messages app, but also to the Exercise (Workout)which can notify someone else when you have finished a physical activity.

Requirements
Why “Arrived Well?” To work, the Apple Watch must be close to the paired iPhone, connected to a Wi-Fi network or to a cellular network (if you have a GPS + Cellular model and an active network).
Additionally, both the sender and recipient must have an iPhone with iOS 17 or later or an Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or a newer version.
How to use “Arrived Well?” via the Messages app on your Apple Watch
With the Messages app open, start a new conversation or open an existing one. Then, tap the “+” and “Did you arrive well?”
Select “Edit” and choose your destination, travel mode (by car, public transport or walking) and add more time if you need.
The “Did you arrive well?” will monitor your route and notify you if your Apple Watch doesn’t make progress for an extended period of time or if it doesn’t arrive at your destination as expected. Upon reaching the destination, the feature will automatically complete and notify the person.
In the same area, you can also specify a period on the timer, if you are going to meet a stranger, for example.
When finished, tap the button located in the top right corner and then “Send”.
How to use “Arrived Well?” via the Exercise app on Apple Watch
With the Exercise app open on your watch, choose the activity you want to do and tap it to get started. Then, swipe from the left to the right of the screen and choose “Are you OK?”. Finish by tapping “Send”.
With this, the resource will notify the person that the exercise has ended.
To add extra time to “Are you OK?”, open the Smart Set, tap the function widget, scroll down and select “More Time”.
To cancel a session, follow the same procedure, but choose “Cancel Arrived Well Session”.
