### Interview on the New Gesture Feature in X (formerly Twitter)
**Interviewer**: Thank you for joining us today, Bruno! It’s exciting to hear about the recent updates on X. Can you tell us more about the new gesture-based navigation feature that’s been introduced for iPhone users?
**Bruno Cardoso**: Absolutely! The new gesture feature allows users to navigate through their timelines more smoothly. By simply swiping left or right on a post, users can easily interact with different tweets, making the experience much more intuitive and engaging.
**Interviewer**: That sounds like a significant improvement. What inspired X to incorporate these gesture controls?
**Bruno Cardoso**: X aims to enhance user experience, and gestures are a natural evolution in mobile app design. Given the popularity of gesture navigation in many apps, implementing this feature aligns perfectly with user expectations for seamless interactions on mobile devices.
**Interviewer**: For those unfamiliar with how to enable this feature, could you walk us through the process?
**Bruno Cardoso**: Sure! To activate these gesture controls, users need to tap their profile photo in the top left corner of the app. Then, they select *Settings and support*, followed by *Settings and privacy*. From there, they can go to *Timeline* and then find *Interaction with posts* to toggle the gesture functionality on.
**Interviewer**: Great, that sounds pretty straightforward! How do you think this change will impact user engagement on the platform?
**Bruno Cardoso**: I believe this feature will significantly enhance user engagement. Gestures make it easier for users to interact with content without the need for extra taps or buttons, which can sometimes disrupt the flow of browsing. This fluidity can lead to more time spent on the platform and potentially more interactions per session.
