The application Daily (Journal) allows you to write and reflect on important moments you have experienced.
If you use this app and have writing suggestions turned on, know that you can use a trick that saves a suggestion so you can write about it later.
See how to do this procedure!
How to use the iPhone Journal app
With the Diary app open, authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Then, tap the “+” (at the bottom of the screen) to see the suggested entries shown.
When you want to save one of them, keep your finger pressed on it and choose “Save without Writing”.
This way, the entry will be shown in your diary, allowing you to edit it later as you prefer — to do this, just tap on the three dots next to it and go to “Edit”.

### Interview with Pedro Henrique Nunes about the iPhone Journal App
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Pedro! As a journalist who recently covered the new Journal app on iPhone, can you give us an overview of its main features?
**Pedro Nunes:** Absolutely! The Journal app is designed to help users document and reflect on significant moments in their lives. It offers various features such as adding photos, videos, and audio recordings, which can enhance the journaling experience. Also, there’s a focus on journaling suggestions, which intelligently group outings, workouts, and other activities to inspire entries [[1](https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/get-started-with-journal-iph0e5ca7dd3/ios)].
**Editor:** That sounds fantastic! I’ve heard you can also save journaling suggestions to write about later. How does that work?
