How to change the ordering of items in the Passwords app [iPhone, iPad, Mac e Vision Pro]

iOS/iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia 15 and visionOS 2 brought a new app dedicated to password management, simply called… Passwords (Passwords).

To more easily find the login for a website or application, you can sort the accounts that appear on it. You can do this according to the date of edition, creation, website or title, as well as the oldest or most recent.

How to change password ordering on iPhone/iPad

With the Passwords app open, tap “All” and use the button represented by two arrows (in the bottom left corner) to change the ordering.

How to change password ordering on Mac

Access the Passwords app and click on “All” (in the left sidebar). Then, select the button represented by two arrows, at the top, to choose the ordering.

How to change password ordering on Apple Vision Pro

After selecting “All” (in the left sidebar), look at the button represented by the arrows and select using your thumb and index finger to see the available options and choose the one you prefer.
