Some time ago, we showed that you can create multiple photo libraries in the native Photos app (Photos) on your Mac. It turns out that Apple also allows the creation of several libraries in the app Music (Music).
So, you may have a library with songs that you want to keep in a library on an external storage device, for example.

How to create multiple Photos libraries on Mac
If the Music app is open on your computer, close it by going to Music
» End Music in the menu bar, using the key combination ⌘ command Q or by right-clicking on the icon in the Dock and selecting “Quit”.
Then, hold down the ⌥ option key while clicking the Music app icon. When the app’s dialog box appears, choose “Create Library…”, give it a name, add tags and choose the location where you want to save it.
When you are ready, click “Save”.
According to Apple, you can use names other than “Music” or “New Music” for better results. Furthermore, in each library created, it is possible to change its settings by going to Music » Settings… in the menu bar or using the shortcut, ⌘ .
