Asunción, IP Agency.- Authorities from the Ministry of Technology and Communication (Mitic), headed by the Vice Minister of Communication, Alejandra Duarte, met this morning with representatives of the Communication Coordinations of the National Sports Secretariat (SND) and the Asu 2024 and 2025 Games to advance in the coordination work for the Latin American Games of Special Olympics Asunción 2024, which are just around the corner and the success of this great meeting of inclusive sports is expected.
The Asunción 2024 Special Olympics Latin American Games, in addition to being an important regional meeting to strengthen the inclusion of athletes with disabilities in society, becomes an ideal space for the promotion of arts, culture and the possibility of positioning Paraguay to the world.
The meeting led by the general coordinator of the Games, Víctor Pecci; the deputy coordinator, Larissa Schaerer; and the Vice Minister of Communication, Alejandra Duarte, allowed us to delve deeper into the communication actions for the positioning of the Games and the appropriation of citizens with the contest.
The working group was also accompanied by the general director of Strategic Communication of Mitic, César Palacios; the general director of Communications of the National Sports Secretariat, Ariel Alarcón; and the communication team for international sports events.
During the work day, the importance of collaboration and joint work between the Coordination of the Games and the institutions that make up the Country Team, headed by the Office of the First Lady of the Nation, was also analyzed. The conversation also included the promotion of the Latin America Late campaign.
