Commercial Influence Law, UMICC, FICC… 2023, year zero of responsible influence?

Remember product placements with CPF scams? NFT? Cryptocurrency? Plastic surgery ? “100% winning” sports betting? Well, on March 31, 2023, the National Assembly voted the bill aimed at regulating all these practices and beyond.

A vote that comes following many adventures in the world of the Internet: scandals therefore with dubious or even fraudulent investments, people denouncing these practices like Sam Zirah, Audrey with her Instagram account Vos Stars in reality or more recently the famous number of Complément d investigation, harassment cases also with the Booba/Berdah case, the establishment of a collective like the AVI, the creation of a union and federation like the UMICC in January 2023 followed by the FICC in March, tribune a little missed with the JDD…

But then, 2023, year zero of responsible influence? Not bad the formula, even if it is not ours… What does this law contain? Why is it important? Why the creation of union and federation of influencers now? And why do we speak today of commercial influence?

To answer all these questions, we interviewed:

  • Audrey, who denounces fraudulent product placements on her Vos Stars account in reality
  • Arthur Delaporte, MP behind the bill with MP Stéphane Vojetta
  • Aurélie Siou, expert in influence strategies
  • Magali Berdah, founder of the FICC and the Shauna Events agency
