Hanzo (Takayuki Yamada) advises Ieyasu, who is fleeing with his retainers to return to Okazaki, that he should leave Iga, the hometown of the Hattori party. In order to deceive Mitsuhide’s pursuers, Ieyasu breaks up with Tadatsugu (Omori Nao) and others, and heads straight for Okazaki beyond the difficult spots of Iga, but is attacked by mysterious Iga people on the way!
Episode 29 review
Perhaps, a samurai must act before being asked, “What are you going to do?”
Nobunaga dies, and Ieyasu (Jun Matsumoto) finds himself in a position where Mitsuhide (Yoshi Sakou) is trying to kill him.
The distance from Sakai to Okazaki is regarding 250km. Ieyasu will run the road with his vassals.
Hanzo Hattori (Takayuki Yamada) makes a proposal to pass through Iga on the steep way home. Iga is the hometown of the Hattori party. I’m assuming it’s safe, but…
Speaking of Igagoe, it is an event that cannot be missed when talking regarding Ieyasu’s life. The Mikawa Ikko Ikki, the Battle of Mikatagahara, and this Iga Crossing.
Ogawa Castle, where I leaned in before Iga-goe. Here is the Koka ninja Tarao Mitsutoshi. Ieyasu and others are cautious, but Tarao welcomes them.
Furthermore, he said that crossing Iga is dangerous and suggested another route. He says he will even escort you.
However, Ieyasu is skeptical. When I asked Hanzo for his opinion, he replied that he was “too kind.”
Following Hanzo’s words, Ieyasu and others decide to cross Iga, but this backfires. He is captured by the Iga people.
Hanzo… I feel like I’m active, but I can’t get enough of it.
The fact that Nobunaga was defeated is good news for the people of Iga, who had been treated badly by Nobunaga.
The head of Iga, Tanba Momochi (Kyusaku Shimada), says that he will deliver Ieyasu’s head to Akechi. A big pinch of desperate situation.
It was Masanobu Honda (Kenichi Matsuyama) who appeared there. He placed himself as a strategist in Iga.
Reunion since Mikawa Ikko Ikki. Masanobu incites him by saying, “I have a grudge once morest Ieyasu,” and “Behead him,” but on the other hand, “There are rumors that Nobunaga is still alive.
As long as the head has not been found, it cannot be said with certainty that it is dead. If he is alive, Akechi will be killed.
What if the head of Ieyasu, who can be said to be Nobunaga’s younger brother, arrives there?
No, no, Nobunaga is already dead even if he says that. Let’s kill Ieyasu, well, Nobunaga’s head has not been found, but he pushes and pulls and shakes Iga.
And Ieyasu says.
Since the head has not been found, Nobunaga’s vassals ask how things are going. Right now, no one is on Akechi’s side. And he promises to defeat Akechi himself and repay the kindness of the Iga people.
Thus, in addition to Masanobu Honda’s cheating, Ieyasu showed his depth of pocket and succeeded in crossing Iga safely.
It was a masterpiece of Kenichi Matsuyama’s smooth speaking.
Ieyasu arrives safely in Okazaki. He vows to avenge Akechi, but someone has already moved.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Murotsuyoshi).
Hideyoshi thought that Ieyasu would kill Nobunaga, and he was preparing for it. Ieyasu sees a different future. It’s just that the opponent has changed, but what you do hasn’t changed. He quickly defeated Akechi.
Once once more, Ieyasu was beaten.
From here on, Ieyasu will be confronted by Hideyoshi.
For Ieyasu, Hideyoshi must be a much more troublesome opponent than Nobunaga.
Unsmiling eyes catch Ieyasu and don’t let go.
