Andrea Rosen and Jennifer Morris, both New York City natives, first crossed paths at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before embarking on successful careers as comedic actors. Their extensive experience on commercial and television sets, having appeared in over 150 commercials for major brands like Verizon, Apple, and Xfinity, has equipped them with invaluable industry insight. Their transition into directing has been seamless, a natural progression driven by their deep understanding of comedy and storytelling.
Andrea Rosen: A Multifaceted Creative Force
Andrea Rosen boasts a multifaceted career, excelling as a writer, producer, actor, and director of numerous award-winning short films and commercials. Her creative pursuits have extended to producing stand-up shows in New York and Los Angeles. Rosen’s talent and comedic timing are also showcased in her role as executive producer and star of a comedy documentary series for Nickelodeon, a project that spanned two successful seasons. Currently, she captivates audiences as Lucy, the endearingly inept boss, in all seasons of Greg Daniels’ critically acclaimed Upload on Amazon.
Jennifer Morris: Theater Visionary and Rising Directing Star
Jennifer Morris, a founding member of the acclaimed theater company The Civilians, brings to the table a rich history of critically acclaimed productions staged at prestigious venues such as BAM in New York City, Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, the Soho Theatre in London, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her dedication to honing her directing skills is evident in her yearlong mentorship with Shondaland in Los Angeles. Morris’ creative genius was recognized when she was honored as Best Female Creator by AMC Networks at the Stareable Awards for her web series If I’m Alive Next Week, a series that recently received high praise from Vulture as one of the best comedy shorts of 2024.
