After the comedian Juan José Mendoza, known artistically as “JJ”, went on stage in Villahermosa, Tabasco, in an apparent state of intoxication, generating the anger of his audience, now it is also the comedian Jorge Falcón who has reacted to the uncomfortable moment that his colleague experienced on October 13.
On social media, a video went viral, showing the audience unhappy with Mendoza’s performance. The spectators shouted “Get out, get out!” until “JJ” decided to ask for help to leave the stage. In the material, the comedian is also seen holding the microphone and apparently arguing with those present.
It was then that with difficulty he seemed to ask: “What do I do?”, which provoked the insistent demand from the public that he leave. Despite some objections, the screams persisted, and finally, she handed over the microphone and staggered off the stage.
After that, “JJ” apologized to his followers. He admitted that he was under the influence of alcohol. Although he claimed to have consumed only three drinks throughout the day, he might not explain why his body was unresponsive and his speech was affected. He speculated that someone might have spiked his drink with drugs.

Given this context, Jorge Falcón was approached by the media, including “De primera mano”, where he expressed his perspective on the incident. He emphasized the importance of maintaining respect for the public and, although he did not know the details of his teammate’s situation, he stressed: “I feel sorry for him because he is a good boy. Very nice, but respect for the public is respect for the public”.
In his experience, Falcón shared having had one or two drinks at his shows, but clarified that his performances only lasted an hour and a half. It is known that “JJ” usually performs shows of up to three hours long, something he enjoys, as he has previously highlighted.
For his part, in a humorous tone, Jorge added that sometimes he asks the audience if they want a drink, to which the audience usually responds affirmatively: “(I tell them) well, they’ll have it there.”
In Juan José Mendoza’s clip, where he explained what happened in the show and which he posted on his Instagram, Facebook and TikTok profiles, he expressed his regret with both the promoters and the businessmen who trusted in his career.
Emphasizing that he is a good person and a good comedian, Falcón advised his colleague to be careful with the drinks he consumes before going on stage.
“There are so many people who are so bad that maybe they threw something at him, because I repeat it once more, he is a good man. He is a good comedian and it surprises me. How ugly that they boo you,” he said.

In an interview on the radio program “El show de Piolín”, “JJ” commented that they are investigating whether their drinks might have been adulterated. He remembered that he likes to have a drink or more during his shows, but he had never experienced a sensation as damaging as the one he experienced last Friday, where he mightn’t even move.
“He related how businessmen prayed for his recovery and advised him not to go on stage; however, due to his ethics and professionalism, he decided to continue, a decision he considered a mistake.
In his 36-year career, the fact that the audience shouted at him to leave the stage affected him deeply.
He also revealed that he had a cold and had taken medication, so when he ingested two whiskeys, he may have experienced an unexpected reaction. This last possibility had already happened to him in the past, when he became ill and, following recovering, he consumed a bottle of red wine, which resulted in an experience similar to that in Villahermosa.
“On one hand or the other, we don’t really know what happened, but it was very unpleasant,” he concluded.
