Kochi: Actor Suresh Gopi congratulated tribal artiste Nanchiyamma who won the National Award for Best Singer for the film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Suresh Gopi congratulated Nanjiamma in a video call.
Suresh Gopi said that today the people of the country are discussing the most regarding our President Draupadi Murmu, followed by Nanjiamma. He added that he never thought such a big honor would come to Nanchiamma and that he is coming to meet Nanchiamma soon.
Suresh Gopi asked Nanjiamma to call the Prime Minister and talk to him. But Nanjiamma replied that it is BSNL here and there is some problem with the mobile range. Suresh Gopi assured that he would report this to the BSNL authorities immediately and invited Nanjiamma to come and stay at his house.
Nanjiamma responded that following receiving the National Award, this is the first time someone from the film industry is making a video call and she feels as if director Sachi is talking directly to her. Nanjiamma said that she was very happy that Suresh Gopi called her.
