The Peril of the “Clavée” (Sheeppox)
According to statements by some livestock producers, this disease, known as Sheeppox, is an extremely contagious acute viral infection, exclusively affecting sheep as opposed to goats.
Devastating Symptoms
According to them, this disease progresses in infected sheep, causing tumors and ulcers on the face, shoulders and feet. These are serious epidemic cases leading to the mortality of affected livestock.
Ignored Calls for Help
The breeders claimed to have requested the intervention of the health and veterinary authorities, who simply provided them with some drugs falling into the category of analgesics.
