2023 ends, and with it remain the memories of some events that are already taking giant steps and positioning Colombia in the concert industry on the continent. One of them is Estéreo Picnic which, for the first time in its more than 10 years of history, lasted four days with artists of international stature such as Tame Impala, Billie Eilish, Rosalía, Drake and Twenty One Pilots, a group that at the last moment was announced to replace Blink-182, who suspended their Latin American tour because Travis Baker, the drummer, broke his hand.

It was also a year of reunions. With four sold-out dates in Medellín, the Mexican group RBD returned to the stage following 15 years of separation. Hits like “Rebelde”, “Sálvame” and “Este corazón”, among others, were the soundtrack of a trip to the past. On that same stage, Karol G presented “Tomorrow will be a nice tour.”

The Cordillera Festival made Bogotá the epicenter of the meeting of Latin American sounds with artists such as Residente, Café Tacvba, Juanes, Los Ángeles Azules and Los Caligaris in the Parque Simón Bolívar; Likewise, it was the scene of Rock Al Parque, which this year had a historic attendance with more than 390,000 people in three days of concerts.

In 2024, Colombia will continue to be in the sights of great artists. During the first week of January, the Carnival Concert will be held in Pasto, Nariño, to celebrate the Black and White Carnival. Espinoza Paz, Blessd, Los Hermanos Medina and Grupo Galé will be part of the show.
