International Legion, volunteer army

According to data provided by Minister Kuleba in March 2022, 20,000 foreign citizens from 52 countries had joined the fight, on the side of Ukraine.

Colombians in Ukraine

It is difficult to know the number of Colombians who have traveled to the Ukraine to fight with the local Army, since many people have done so independently.

Although soldiers have traveled from Colombia on official missions to support demining efforts, but in this type of unofficial missions from different countries, many of those who have joined are ex-military.
