The Colombian government clarified that the border crossing between its country and Venezuela maintains its usual schedule, Contrary to what the governor of Táchira state, Freddy Bernal, said this week on the subject.
“To date and until an official announcement, the schedule continues to be from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day.”he pointed out document of the Colombian Foreign Ministry. “This schedule remains unchanged until the national border control authorities agree on new conditions.”.
Although the situation remains the same, the Colombian government highlighted the creation of a technical committee with authorities from both countries to study possible changes.

According to Bernal, The border crossing hours had been extended until 12 midnight.a measure that would come into effect on Monday, April 8.
