Colombian prosecutors are investigating the alleged discovery of explosives next to a model of the Colombian Supreme Court after a raid by authorities in Bogotá, although the discovery has not yet been confirmed, the agency reported on Friday.
“For the moment we can confirm that the Specialized Directorate against Criminal Organizations is conducting an investigation and is on the trail of these events that are being talked about, in which a couple of raids have been carried out in conjunction with the Police.”the Prosecutor’s Office said, without giving further details, EFE reported.
Local media reported that explosives were found alongside plans for the Palace of Justice in two raids in the south of the Colombian capital.
Police told Caracol Radio that authorities are investigating the case, although further details are unknown at this time and an official statement on the case is expected.
