Colombia is already vibrating with the official song of the U-20 Women’s World Cup

On August 16th it was released Aheh- Aheh, the official song of the U-20 Women’s World Cup. This is a collaboration made by FIFA, originally by Mambo Kingz and DJ Luian, a song that captures the essence of the tournament.

Performed by two promising young Colombians, Nath and Ysa C, this composition reflects andthe empowerment, resilience and unity that is experienced on the court.

«Ysa C, a pioneer of Afro-Colombian music, pays tribute to cultural heritage and women through her powerful voice and rhythm. Nath, on the other hand, brings a contemporary and dynamic style, with a current energy that attracts the youngest. Together they delight us with a song that mixes the traditional with the modern and that highlights the diversity of women’s football,» FIFA said on its official website.

Isabella Cordoba Manturana, better known as Ysa C, is a renowned singer-songwriter of Afrobeat, pop and electronic music.

“It is a moment of great pride for Colombia. We are showing the world our culture and passion for football. The U-20 Women’s World Cup goes beyond sport; it pays tribute to the unity and diversity of our country,” said the Colombian.

Nath, for her part, mentioned that “it is a great honour to have participated in the composition of the song for the U-20 Women’s World Cup and to demonstrate our passion for football. It is an opportunity to highlight the talent and resilience of our country, as well as the passion of its inhabitants.”

There will be 52 matches played from August 31 to September 22 at the four established venues: the Metropolitano de Techo and the Nemesio Camacho El Campín in Bogotá; the Atanasio Girardot in Medellín and the Pascuala Guerrero in Cali.

The capital of Antioquia will host a total of 10 matches and in the Colombian capital, the opening and the final of this great tournament. According to the Colombian Football Federation, this song promises to be the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable competition.
