Three Colombian hospitals stood out worldwide by ranking in the ranking of the 250 best academic medical centers on the planet, a ranking that was made in a performance evaluation carried out by the firm Brand Finance, a renowned international brand valuation consultancy.

The three Creole medical centers that stood out in this international measurement were Fundación Valle de Lili, from Valle del Cauca; the Santa Fe de Bogotá University Hospital; and the Colombian Institute of Cancerology, which were well rated by the 2,500 health professionals who were surveyed for the research study.

This information is known just when the country is increasing the debate on the role that medical centers will play if the controversial health reform with which Minister Carolina Corcho seeks to end the EPS is approved.
