The Geneva unions are on their backs and ready to do battle to defend “their” minimum wage. On June 14, the Council of States accepted by 28 votes to 16 a motion by Erich Ettlin (OW/The Centre) which would give extended national collective labor agreements (CCT) priority over minimum wages set out in cantonal laws.
