Colby Covington defeated Jorge Masvidal via unanimous decision (49-46, 50-44, 50-45) in the main event of the at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Very cerebral combat from Covington, who knew that his virtues were greater than those of his opponent and capitalized on it. In wrestling, thanks to his takedowns, he clearly dominated.

Colby Covington beat his former friend Jorge Masvidal in the main match of the Ultimate Fighting Championship 272, following an intense four-round duel full of intensity, marked by the rivalry that both began a few months ago, following Colby accused Masvidal of not honor debts with their coaches.

However, he lost to Usman in the next fight. A win over former champion Tyron Woodley earned him one more shot at Woodley; but he would fall once more, in his quest to conquer the belt.

After both fell to the champion Kamaru Usman, now Masvidal and Covington will meet face to face in the steel cage, in a match that has attracted great attention among fans of mixed martial arts.
