The winners of the CMC Crypto Awards 2024 have finally been announced.

CoinMarketCap after a 10-day online voting process and thorough data analysis presented the winners of the 2024 CMC Crypto Awards.
Who won the CMC Crypto Award 2024?
The event honored people, products and initiatives currently trending in the crypto and Web3 industries.
The award ceremony, broadcast live to a global audience on March 6, revealed the winner and captured their rewards as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
The winners of the various categories are:
- Crypto of the Year: Solana SOL Price
- Bridge Builder of the Year: BlackRock
- Meme coin of the year: Bonk
- Social Influencer to Watch: ZachXBT
- Most Innovative L1/L2/Cross-Chain Project: Celestia
- The most innovative NFT and gaming project: Pudgy Penguins
- The most innovative DeFi project: Uniswap
- Cryptocurrency Leader of the Year: Vitalik Buterin, Ryan Selkis, Brian Armstrong, CZ, Julia Leung.
A notable highlight of the event was the surprising decision to award Cryptocurrency Leader of the Year to all nominees.
It was a difficult decision
CoinMarketCap CEO Rush Luton explained the committee’s decision, stating:
It was impossible to pick a single winner. All five candidates have done a lot in the last 12 months, but in very different ways. We would like to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of each of them to move the industry forward.

As such, the awards ceremony was a tribute to an industry that is just beginning to recover from last year’s volatile year.
