Cologne (ots) – Cyber risk specialist awarded overall rating of “very good” in customer survey.
In the latest issue, Focus Money once again named COGITANDA one of the fairest providers of cyber insurance in Germany. COGITANDA received the top grade “Very Good” as “Fairest Cyber Insurer”, for “Fairest Protection and Provision” and for the “Fairest Price-Performance Ratio”. For the study, the specialist magazine, together with a market research institute, obtained almost 1,300 reviews. To do this, they surveyed companies that had concrete experience with cyber insurance providers.

In order to make the term “fairness” measurable, the authors of the study defined four sub-dimensions: “Fair customer advice”, “Fair protection & precaution”, “Fair customer communication” and “Fair value for money”. Each of the dimensions included several specific service and performance characteristics that the respondents had to evaluate. From this, the market researchers first calculated individual grades. In the second step, they then determined the overall result from them. In the dimensions “Fair customer advice”, “Fair protection & precaution” and “Fair price-performance ratio” COGITANDA achieved the top grade “Very good”.
Fairness profile in market comparison
In each of the four sub-dimensions, COGITANDA managed to outperform the average. The lead over the average was particularly large in the performance and service features “Regular review of insurance requirements and coverage”, “Product quality”, “Reliability of statements” and “Price-performance ratio”. Walder said: “Cyber security is one of the greatest challenges of our time. We are determined to offer our customers the best possible protection.”
COGITANDA was founded in 2016 and has been successfully active on the market for five years now with its cyber insurance offer, which was launched in 2018. The special thing about it: COGITANDA offers its customers not only insurance against cyber risks, but also all forms of prevention services – and in the event of a claim, takes care of the handling and repair of the damage.
About the study
Focus Money has carried out the study together with the market research institute ServiceValue GmbH for the fifth time. The current survey, which was conducted in April and May 2023 by means of an online survey, included 1,290 judgments on 24 international providers of cyber insurance of various sizes.
