Argentine chefs said goodbye to Public TV following 15 years
Shortly following beginning its 15th season, Cocineros Argentinos was taken off the air. This Wednesday, March 27, the last live program was broadcast, and recorded episodes will be broadcast until Sunday.
At the moment of farewell, the chef Juan Braceli took the floor: “It is a great moment to thank the production company, for so many teams that have passed through for so many years, that if we start naming we are going to be left out and I don’t want that to happen. that. Nacho, Ayelén, production assistants and all the Kapow workers who have been through Cocineros Argentinos for many years.”
“I cannot fail to mention Sebas Cyrulnik, who was the person who called us together from the start, and Juan Pablo Abait, who together with Sebas put all this together from the beginning. Obviously, Lucas Rayneli and Agustín Sacanell, owners of the production company; “Mati Edelman, who started as a child and became the CEO.”
“The kitchen has that. It transports you and gives you unique moments in life and continues to do so to this day. Today I have the same emotion as 8 years ago and I want to thank the pastry chefs and bakers who are back here, the nicest thing that happened here is that we try to get everyone to make the recipes at home. “It is difficult to express in these words, it is a thank you to those who supported us every day, love was never lacking and I apologize if we were ever wrong, thanks to my parents and to every cook who is hidden there, which is all of them.” you”. said very moved Luciano “Lucho” García, one of the pastry chefs.

Braceli took up the word once more to express more details of what he feels. “There are many that have passed, many litters and a great production hotbed. Many thanks to Kapow for the opportunity and we had to bet on this and it worked. This remains the case, because until the last moment of this creation, we will continue to be a cooking show.”
“This is a very special moment, we must remember and be grateful. It started as a risk, as Juan said a little while ago. Many thanks to Kapow, to Public TV for all these 15 years, there was no way to do it if a public media did not bet on it to show that beautiful sum of identities that must continue to be shown.”
Chantal, part of the chef staff, also expressed her feelings. When saying goodbye to her, she explained that she met chefs, different producers, gastronomy people, suppliers and people who, in her own words, are worth a lot. “I adore them,” she closed excitedly.
A few days ago, the presenter had been blunt regarding the closure that the format deserved. “I think that now we deserve this closure, to embrace all the viewers and all those who have been through the program, which was also a great breeding ground for TV producers and producers.”
“I understand that the production company has some offers and is talking. We will see where it will go, how this will transform. Now is the time to say ‘goodbye’ and put closure to all this on Public TV, which was our home,” she concluded.
The host has been in the series since its inception, with extensive experience in professional cooking, who knew how to produce dozens of programs for the El Gourmet channel. Towards the end of 2008 he was summoned to begin devising a program that, initially, the commitment was for three months to see how the public received it and which finally managed to be installed.
At the end, Juan Braceli and the entire rest of the team said goodbye, raising their voices and in unison they shouted: “We are all Argentine chefs.”
