One of the accused women, defended by lawyer Marco Sciascio, maintains her innocence. “We will evaluate with the prosecutor whether there are margins to proceed with alternative rites,” Sciascio stated, “I am thinking in particular of a plea bargain. The girl, accused of aiding and abetting and exploitation of prostitution, is believed to be innocent, we consider ourselves victims of the system. She considers herself completely unrelated to the case and herself a victim of what happened — a statement that we have already filed —of non-involvement in the accusation, or perhaps even a hearing, given the premise that I have made.”
