Coast Guard Searching for Lost Deep-Sea Submersible Exploring Titanic Wreckage

The U.S. Coast Guard has been searching for a deep-sea submersible used for tourists to see the wreckage of the sunken passenger ship Titanic.

The US Boston Coast Guard said on the morning of the 19th local time that the submersible “Titan” of the US undersea exploration company “Oceangate Expedition” lost contact in regarding an hour and 45 minutes following it entered the water with five people on board.

Among those missing is billionaire British businessman and explorer Hamish Harding, his family said.
