Coach salaries: Bill Belichick and Sean McVay would receive 18 million dollars per season

The salaries of NFL coaches are not public and often subject to speculation. What is certain is that they are comfortable.

Selon The Sports Daily, who dug into the subject, the average salary for NFL coaches this year is $7.26 million. A very significant increase has taken place in three years. In 2019, this same Sports Daily established the average at $4.5 million.

In the bank as in the field, it is Bill Belichick who leads the dance. Bill Belichick would make about $18 million a year with the Patriots. It must be said that the man with the six rings is not just the coach. He also holds the position of general manager.

The former New Englander is not alone at the top of the salary pyramid. Freshly crowned with the Rams, Sean McVay would receive between 15 and 18 million per season. A contract that rewarded his Super Bowl victory. He was also the youngest coach in history to lift the Lombardi trophy.

The podium is completed by Pete Carroll, who will console himself with the departure of Russell Wilson with 14 million dollars for the season. It takes that to support the mental load of directing Drew Lock and Geno Smith.

The Top 10 heist is directed by Matt Rhule, who would earn 8.5 million per season after leading the Panthers to 10 wins and 23 losses in 2 years.
