The National Electoral Council (CNE) held the formal installation of the National and International Oversight Plan for the elections on Sunday, July 28.
From the facilities of the Big Top, located in Plaza Caracas, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Dr. Elvis Amoroso, assured the importance that international representatives have for Venezuela and the world during the different electoral processes.
Amoroso stressed that the Venezuelan National Electoral Council has the best electoral system in the world, and assured that each of the electoral authorities has been carrying out an arduous task to transmit to the candidates, to the political organizations that are part of this process and to the media the transparency and effectiveness of the Venezuelan electoral system.
THE WORLD SEES US
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, held a meeting with international representatives for the presidential elections on July 28. In his speech, Cabello confirmed that the elections on July 28 will be decided by the people. “We are proud that the eyes of the world are on Venezuela,” he said.
“This electoral process is accompanied by previous violence from opposition sectors,” he said, and at the same time reiterated that “They (the opposition) will have to recognize the results of July 28.”
