1930 – Clyde Tombau discovers Pluto. Former ninth planet of the solar system

Clyde William Tombaugh was an American astronomer who discovered the dwarf planet Pluto in 1930.
Clyde Tombois has discovered as many as 14 asteroids, most of which are by-products of the search for asteroids. including Pluto Royal Astronomical Society of England has given Jackson-Wilt Medal It was given to him in 1931, and part of Tombo’s ashes were contained in the New Horizons spacecraft traveling to Pluto.
Clyde William Tombeau died in New Mexico at the age of 91.
