The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola was launched in Brazil for the corporate sector with several productivity tools. Today Motorola announced that the smartphone will support a new feature that is very useful for companies: Windows 365.
Windows 365 is a version of Windows 11 that runs directly on the cloud and can be accessed through smart screens, without the need for a powerful computer to use advanced features, as everything is processed in the Microsoft cloud.
Windows 365 arrived in Brazil in August 2021 and will soon be able to be used on the Lenovo ThinkPhone when it is connected to an external screen, as stated on the Motorola blog:
Customers can access the power of the ThinkPhone by pairing it with any Lenovo monitor, including the ThinkVision P27h-30 monitor with a 27-inch QHD display and Bluetooth accessories such as the Lenovo Professional Wireless Rechargeable Combo Keyboard and Mouse, and Lenovo Go Wireless ANC Headset, for a full Windows PC experience with all your custom apps, content and settings, wherever they are.
Windows 365 being compatible with a cell phone in this way is a great advantage for productivity, because as all the files and the operating system are not stored on the smartphone, the internal storage is almost not used.
Another interesting addition to the ThinkPhone is support for using the device’s red key as a Walkie Talkie with Microsoft Teams:
By quickly programming the red key to invoke Walkie Talkie mode, users will have instant push-to-talk (PTT) communication capabilities. Working out of the box, this feature seamlessly integrates the red key with the Walkie Talkie app in Microsoft Teams, making it easy to instantly communicate with specific teams or departments at once using Teams Channels.
The new features will be available to Lenovo ThinkPhone users in the coming weeks.
The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola is not yet available in Brazilian stores. To be notified when it arrives.
