Closing of All India Sevens Football – Veekshanam

Doha; The “Kick Off 2022” semi-finals-finals of the All India Sevens Football organized by Folk (Friends of Kozhikode) concluded with various events at the Hamilton International School Grounds.
The Mets defeated Qatar by one goal in a thrilling match to win the City Exchange. Indian Ambassador Dr. Deepak Mittal handed over the trophy to the winners. The Ambassador also enjoyed the dances performed by the children of Kalaripayat – Kolkali – Fokki and congratulated the players and artists. As part of Kick Off 2022, the Ambassador visited and appreciated the stalls of Malabar dishes prepared by the women section members of “Kozhikode Kissa” Folk.

Tournament Committee Chairman EP Abdurahman welcomed the gathering and Folk President KK Usman presided over the function and thanked Ranjith Chalil. General Secretary Vipin Das, Treasurer Mansoor Ali, Riyaz Babu, Faisal Moosa and Anwar Babu led the function.
