Clip Alexander Gudkov “I am narrow” is asked to check in the UK September 3, 2022 – September 3, 2022

Artur Shlykov, head of the Civic Committee public movement, asked the Investigative Committee to check the comedian Alexander Gudkov’s clip “I’m Narrow” for humiliation of the honor and dignity of Russians on a national basis. It is reported on September 3 RIA Novosti with reference to the author of the application.

About a month ago, singer Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov) released a patriotic song “I’m Russian”. And just the other day, on the Chicken Curry YouTube channel, a video was released for a song from Gudkov – “I’m Narrow”. So far, it has garnered 1.2 million views.

The clip attracted the attention of the chairman of the public association “Civil Committee of Russia”. He turned to the UK with a request to give the video a legal assessment and check it for signs of a crime. We are talking about Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity.” The maximum punishment for it provides for a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles or imprisonment for a term of two to five years.

According to SPARK, an interregional public movement with the name “Civil Committee of Russia” is not registered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. On its page on the social network it is said that it is a voluntary public association.

“The Russian Internet news media Mash highlighted my position on the antics of another stupid marginal from the so-called creative intelligentsia, who diligently promote Russophobia in the format of “humor” … But, if you love honey, love and chill,” commented the head of the movement Artur Shlykov on his Vkontakte page. It also states that Shlykov allegedly previously worked in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region, was a member of the Moscow Region branch of the Popular Front and is a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia in Moscow.
