“It’s the month of September that makes the harvest”, they say in the vineyard. “There, it’s the month of August!” corrects Rodrigo Banto, oenologist at Cave de La Côte. Indeed, the various winegrowers interviewed plan to pick the first grapes this week already, and to begin the bulk of the harvest around August 29, ie three to four weeks ahead of the average for the decade.
