With the approach of summer, some irrigated arboriculture experience peaks in water consumption. A significant number of farmers continue to use water excessively without basing themselves on a precise knowledge of the needs of the plant. With the development of agronomic and technological research, however, a growing number of farmers are adopting new approaches that capitalize on real-time data in order to manage irrigation more efficiently.
However, these “climate-smart” techniques require investment and technical know-how that is not always available. Focus on a site that can improve the use of water as long as the support for farmers is done according to the rules of the art.
