The police were alerted around 8:45 a.m. The officers who were deployed initially left the activists stuck. Public bus transport could pass the blockade, police spokesman Johann Baumschlager said this morning. Two of the activists were initially stuck. Up to ten came to Klosterneuburg until midday. The rally ultimately lasted until around 1:30 p.m.

“It was to be expected that the climate chaotics would follow our governor at her birthday party,” reacted Matthias Zauner, regional manager of the Lower Austria People’s Party.
