Vienna (OTS) – The start-up initiative “greenstart” of the Climate and Energy Fund in cooperation with the Climate Protection Ministry (BMK) is entering its ninth round – ambitious entrepreneurs and people from all over Austria are once once more invited to apply with their climate-relevant business ideas. A submission is online possible until February 15th (12:00 p.m.). For those interested, an information workshop on January 24th will provide further information.
An independent jury of experts selects the TOP 10 start-ups. They not only receive starting capital of 10,000 euros, but also benefit from a six-month, intensive program with targeted workshops, coaching and extensive support in public relations. Access to an important network of co-founders, investors and climate and energy model regions is an integral part of this offer. In addition, every “greenstarter” has a workstation in the co-working space Climate Lab in Wien Spittelau available.
At the end of the six-month program, the TOP-3 “greenstars” are selected by the population via online voting and a final evaluation by the expert jury. These three start-ups will each be awarded an additional 20,000 euros in prize money.
