As part of its activities and contributions to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), the Trends Center for Research and Consulting officially launched its new book, “Climate Change and Transboundary Challenges in the Middle East and Africa,” and organized a panel discussion on its chapters in which a group of experts, researchers, and authors participated. the book.
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, stressed in a speech in which he launched the book, that the COP28 conference represents a historic moment for the future of the planet Earth, and constitutes an important opportunity to achieve real and practical progress in efforts to address the climate crisis, and we must exploit this opportunity.

He explained that in line with the global agenda aimed at building a sustainable future, the Trends Center for Research and Consulting is proud to present his new book, edited within the framework of the Environment and Sustainable Development Research Programme, noting that it consists of thirteen chapters written by well-known experts in the field of climate change, resource management, and energy transformation, to highlight Highlighting the most pressing global challenges currently.
He stated that this in-depth research work presented multiple perspectives on the political, economic, geopolitical and humanitarian dimensions of mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change in the Middle East and Africa, which is the region most vulnerable to the negative effects of climate change.
