Cleb approves Budget Bill for Fiscal Year 2023

During this Session, the State Development Plan 2021-2025 was also admitted, presented to Parliament by the Regional Executive

During the Ordinary Session, held this Thursday, December 8 and complying with the provisions of the Decree with Rank, Value and Force of the Organic Law of Financial Administration of the Public Sector, the Organic Law of Financial Administration of the Public Sector of the Bolívar State and its Regulation No. 1, on the Budget System, the Legislative Council of the Bolívar state (Cleb), chaired by legislator Armando Barreto, accompanied in the directive by the vice president of the Regional Parliament, legislator Yusleiby Ramírez, approved by a majority of the revolutionary forces, the Bill for the Budget of Resources and Expenditures of the Bolívar state, corresponding to the fiscal year 2023.

Legislator Armando Barreto highlighted that: “This Budget Bill for Fiscal Year 2023 is structured according to the general lines of the Plan de la Patria Simón Bolívar National Project and the third Socialist Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Nation 2019 – 2025, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of Bolivarians, boosting the economy from the point of view of employment and the generation of goods and services, in areas such as: Security, Health, Education, Water, Infrastructure, Agribusiness, Social, Popular Power, Tourism, and Non-metallic Mining,” he said.

He also emphasized that this Budget will be distributed in works for the benefit of the people and in the social agenda carried out by the Regional Executive through programs to protect Citizens and likewise will be destined to strengthen the health system, to promote the sport and to improve the conditions of the educational sector.

During this Session, the State Development Plan 2021-2025 was also admitted, presented to Parliament by the Regional Executive, where Governor Ángel Marcano with a focus on Popular Situational Planning, which involves the participation of all actors and their processes of high direction, and considering the human talent, the potentialities and needs of the state, seeks the institutional strengthening, the integral development of the Nation and of the Bolívar state, as a whole.

The session ended, approving by an absolute majority, a Chamber agreement to be commemorated, this December 8, the Day of Love and Loyalty, the date on which Commander Chávez gave his last address to the people of Venezuela ten years ago, as a way of to honor the eternal leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.Press Cleb
