Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center at the General Meteorological Authority, revealed the fact that the so-called storm Nihal will arrive in Egypt in the coming days, stressing that it is just a rumor and that there are no storms called Nihal at all.
Manar Ghanem added, during her hosting on Sada El Balad channel, that it is expected that there will be no dust or dust storms during the period of Eid al-Fitr 2024.
Manar Ghanem indicated that there is no truth to Storm Nihal hitting Egypt during the coming period, and that everything that is circulating are just malicious rumors on social media pages.
Manar Ghanem appealed to all citizens not to pay attention to such rumors, and to urge everyone to follow the weather bulletins issued by the General Meteorological Authority only.
She pointed to today’s weather conditions in the country, as dust and sand are expected in northern Upper Egypt and Western Sahara, noting that the weather phenomena during the coming days will witness stability across the country, and temperatures are expected to begin rising as of next Thursday.
