MEXICO CITY.- The president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reported that this Friday he received a call from his counterpart at United States, Joe Bidento congratulate her after becoming the first president of Mexico.
In her official X account, she published a photograph of the moment of the telephone conversation, the head of the federal Executive detailed that with the American president addressed bilateral cooperation issues in matter economic, cultural and commercial.
“I received a call from the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, in which we discussed bilateral cooperation in economic, cultural and commercial matters. “I appreciate your congratulations after assuming office as the first president of Mexico,” she wrote on the social network.

For his part, the president of the United States, Joe Bidenalso used his social networks to boast that spoke with Claudia Sheinbaumwhom he congratulated on his new position and said that he aspires to “continue the solid and collaborative alliance” between the two neighboring countries.

Previously, Claudia Sheinbaum received congratulations from the current US vice president and Democratic candidate for the November 5 elections, Kamala Harriswho highlighted his “historic investiture.”
The United States was represented at the swearing-in ceremony by the first lady, Jill Bidenwho led the country’s delegation. A day before, he said he had noticed as soon as he landed the “enthusiasm” that existed for the arrival of a woman to power for the first time in Mexico.
