Claudia Sheinbaum announces more members of her cabinet

MEXICO CITY.- This Thursday, June 27, the virtual president-elect of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaumpresented the second part of his cabinet.

He only presented five more members, since he had planned to present Rogelio Ramírez de la O as Secretary of Finance, however, The official was unable to attend for their activities.

Luz Elena González Escobar – Ministry of Energy

Economist by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Master in Law from the Technological University, with a specialty in Tax Law. She has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Catalonia and is a graduate of the Leadership for Sustainable Development program at the Colegio de México.

He also has a diploma in Sustainable Development from the Universidad Iberoamericano and various studies on topics related to the Environment.

David Kershenobich Stalnikowitz – Secretary of Health

Medical surgeon and researcher. He has a specialization in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition. He is also a liver specialist from the Royal Free Hospital in London, where he obtained his doctorate in medicine.

David Kershenobich was President of the National Academy of Medicine (ANM) from 2010 to 2012. He received the Medal of Merit in Sciencegranted by the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City (ALDF) on April 26, 2016.

Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez – Head of the Civil Service

She is currently the head of the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and is one of the trusted officials of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Before joining the SAT, the official commanded the highest office of the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).

Es Mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he was awarded the Gabino Barreda medal for his thesis “On the Miller-Teply theorem”. He subsequently obtained a master’s degree in Economics from El Colegio de México

Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina – Secretary of Communications and Transportation

He is currently the Secretary of Public Works and Services of Mexico City. He is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Structures from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Edna Elena Vega Rangel – Secretary of Agrarian Development

PhD in Sociology With a specialty in Society and Territory, she also has a Master’s degree in Metropolitan Planning and a degree in Sociology, with a specialty in Urban Sociology from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM).

In the academic field, she has collaborated with the Autonomous Metropolitan University and the Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACD) as a Full Professor and Research Professor respectively.
