Claude Meylan | The charm of the Lionesses

La Lionne is the name of a small river which has its source at the Abbey and meanders quietly through the Vallée de Joux, birthplace of the watchmaker Claude Meylan and his ancestors since the 18th century

It is quite natural that the brand borrows its name to designate a collection which deploys its watchmaking charms through fine mechanical lace with particularly feminine finery. The Lionne collection presents the art of skeletonization in three new colors. Draped in pink or a lilac shade, the movement contrasts with the colored highlight of “Marie-Antoinette gray”. Dressed in royal blue, it matches a refined white flange punctuated by the Roman numerals for the hours. A bold combination of colors for these real mechanical sculptures that come to life in a 35mm case.
