Claro TV+, a subscription TV and streaming service from the operator Claro, announced that it will include accessibility features in some films in its catalogue. The initiative is part of the operator’s plans to develop subtitles, audio description and Libras solutions for audiovisual content offered in its hub.
The films that will feature accessibility features are: “”Barbie”, “Blue Beetle”, “DC League of Superpets”; “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets”; “Black Adam”; “Batman”; and “No Worry, Honey.” Users will be able to access the options through the application itself using the accessibility tools in successful titles on the big screen.
Claro TV+ stated that the inclusion of accessibility resources aims to increase access and diversity for its audience, in addition to complying with current legislation on the subject. The novelty democratizes access to audiovisual content for people with disabilities, a measure that expands on-demand content to more people.
The operator also highlighted that its service offers 4K image quality, Dolby Atmos sound, integration with streaming apps such as Globoplay, Netflix and Prime Video, and exclusive features such as replay, download and mirroring.
