The Ministry of Education sends new details regarding enrollment in primary education 2023.
Thus, applications are submitted online or submitted, between May 3 and 18, 2023, to the educational unit where children are requested to enroll. In the same period, the other documents necessary for registration will be submitted or transmitted, respectively the identity document of the parent or the legal guardian; if applicable, a document showing how parental authority is exercised and where the minor’s domicile is established, the child’s birth certificate and the recommendation for enrollment in the preparatory class (for children who turn 6 between September 1 and December 31, 2023 inclusive) .
In the case of enrollment at an educational unit other than the district school, documents certifying the fulfillment of the general criteria, respectively the specific tie-breaking criteria, are also required.
The general tie-breaking criteria are also available on the request-type of entry. The specific tie-breaking criteria are communicated at the level of each educational unit.
The parent can opt for the child’s enrollment at the district school in the situation where the child is not enrolled at the requested school, due to a lack of free places, by checking this option in the application-type of enrollment.
