Montreal Canadiens fans may be concerned that interim head coach Martin St-Louis has yet to sign a contract extension with the organization.
However, this should not be a source of concern according to the latest information reported by TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie.
According to Lavoie, a contract will eventually be signed, and it is essentially a question of timing that is delaying the process.
Do not interpret the fact that Martin St-Louis has not yet signed his contract with the Canadiens as if there was sand in the gears. It’ll get sorted out eventually. More a question of ‘timing’ which explains the fact that it is not settled yet. @TVASports

During the end-of-season review, St-Louis has already indicated that he intends to return behind the bench next year.
It is unclear, however, if he will sign a short-term or long-term contract with the Habs.
