This year, the indexation for the property tax in Belgium amounts to 9.6%. A record rate that hurts many owners, especially when the amount to be paid is distorted by a calculation error.
It happens that the administration forgets to indicate the bonuses or reductions to which the owner would be entitled and which might reduce this amount. For example, from two children, you have a 10% reduction per dependent child and not everyone knows it.
