Without too much fanfare, details or delving into the issue, both companies have announced that the seventh numbered installment of the mythical franchise will be a reality, but not before having carried out a restructuring in the leadership of the American company, which has just launched the praised Marvel’s Midnight Suns that, however, has not met the sales forecasts that Take-Two had deposited in the work of tactical action, cards and superheroes.
The portal IGN recalled the change in leadership suffered by Firaxis in recent weeks on precisely this issue, which ended with the COO Heather Hazen as the new head of the study. “I am excited to have this opportunity to carry on the legacy of the studio, starting with the Announcement that Firaxis is developing the next installment in the legendary Civilization franchise”, Hazen explained when assuming the position of greatest responsibility among the creators of the latest installments of the XCOM saga.
