“Lebanon Debate”
From time to time, documented scenes of the arrest of a person guilty of theft or something similar are repeated, the most recent of which was today, Tuesday, but not for a misdemeanor, but for reasons related to civil peace and inciting sectarian strife.
In detail, a video was broadcast live on the “Taalabaya October 17 Revolutionaries” page, of a young man who was tied to a pole in the center of the town for publishing a video that stirred up strife between Muslims and Christians in the town.
This person is of Syrian nationality, and whoever tied him to the pole vowed to punish anyone who dared to cause strife in the town, and asked him more than once how much he was paid for broadcasting this seditious video.
The young men tried to interrogate the young man and forcefully extract confessions from him, threatening to keep him tied up as an example because the people of Taalabaya “Coexistence” would not accept strife occurring there.
The young man was later handed over to the State Security Service to take the necessary legal measures once morest him.
But despite the magnitude of the crime committed by the young man, no one has the right to defame him, especially since when the security forces arrest a criminal, they do not defame him, but rather hide his face. Has self-security become a justifiable matter in a state that has become a failure?
