During the night hours, civil defense personnel deployed across all Lebanese territories carried out the following tasks, during the ongoing depression affecting Lebanon:
– Removing the remnants of rock and dirt collapses from the roads of the following areas: Qartaba, Mar Chaaya – El-Matn, (Meeting of the Two Rivers – Kfarhim – Deir Dorit – Deir El-Qamar), Aramoun – Aley, Joura Arsoun – Ras El-Matn, Qarnayel.
– Plowing snow to facilitate traffic on the Kfardebian-Faqra-Ayoun Al-Sulaiman main road.
– Drawing water from inside homes in Qab Elias and Jdita – Bekaa.
– Cars towed due to water puddling on the roads in Bachoura.
– Rescuing citizens as a result of floods in Barja.
Civil Defense personnel continue to respond to relief calls around the clock following a call to the General Directorate of Civil Defense operations room on number 125 to report any emergency.
